The release of Apple’s iPhone 14 series in September is much anticipated. There have reportedly been a lot of leaks, and more are probably going to happen before the debut. The details of the manufacturing process for the iPhones in 2022 are the subject of a new rumor. Here is what we do know.

iPhone 14 Production Details Revealed

According to renowned Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple may begin producing the iPhone 14 in India simultaneously with its planned commencement of production in China. The next iPhones will start being produced at both factories in the second half of 2022.

This will be the first time India will make iPhones around the time of the launch. Usually, the Indian production starts a quarter or two after the launch takes place. The iPhone 14 manufacturing will be handled by the Foxconn plant located in Tamil Nadu.

Kuo also discusses the continued disparity between iPhone shipments and production capacity in China and India. However, the start of manufacturing simultaneously in both areas is a significant shift for India, which Apple appears to view as a “key growth driver.”

In reality, according to Apple’s most recent earnings conference, its revenue in India more than quadrupled in the second quarter. This may be the cause of the iPhone manufacturer’s early production ambitions in India. This may also lead to lower than typical costs for the future iPhone 14 series, although for the time being, this is only conjecture.

A recent price leak suggests that the iPhone 14 may start at $799 (~ Rs 63,200). which is the same as the starting price of the iPhone 13. This is despite the supply chain issues. As for what to expect, Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 14, the iPhone 14 Max, the iPhone 14 Pro, and the iPhone 14 Pro Max, and all could come with a 120Hz ProMotion display.

While the Pro models could have the latest A16 chipset and 48MP cameras. The non-Pro versions could stick to last year’s A15 chipset and 12MP cameras. We anticipate a new pill+hole display design, larger batteries, better camera performance, more RAM, and many other things.

You should be mindful, though, that these rumors are still merely that. Up to the release of the iPhone 14 series, we won’t have any concrete information. Therefore, it might be wise to wait and see what Apple has in store this time.
